Energy

National and international energy policy is currently undergoing significant change. Where energy and climate protection are concerned, the current conditions and incentives are not conducive to securing a sustainable and reliable energy for the long term. econcept advises authorities, energy companies and other organisations on a wide range of energy-related topics. Our consultancy work is rooted in research findings and revolves around applying them in practice. We support our clients throughout the entire process, from the conceptual stage, through the development of strategies, instruments and measures, to the actual implementation of projects.

Focus Areas

Taking the economic, business and social aspects into consideration, we undertake interdisciplinary research in national and international programmes and lay the groundwork for sound decision-making in respect of the use of renewable energies and increasing energy efficiency.

In the area of voluntary programmes and agreements, we carry out audits, provide expert opinions on specific issues and help municipalities and cities to achieve the “Energiestadt” (Energy City) label.

We advise public and private institutions on the development of measures and programmes to promote sustainable buildings and building management. In addition, we develop concepts and tools for sustainable and cost-effective building rehabilitation using quantitative and qualitative methods. The sound analysis of motives and behaviour of the actors are focal points of our activities.

Im Projektteil "Städtevergleich" wurde die Energieträgerwahl beim Heizungsersatz in verschiedenen Städten untersucht. Im 2. Projektteil wird mit Fallstudien zu Luft-Wasser-Wärmepumpen der Einsatz dieser Technologie analysiert.
